Sources close to the situation claim the strained relationships stem from the emotional and legal fallout of the couple’s split, which began in 2016 when Jolie filed for divorce. The reported estrangement most notably includes their son Pax, who has previously made public remarks critical of Pitt, and another of the couple’s older children. According to the source, Pitt now views these particular relationships as “unfixable.”
While the younger twins are said to still have occasional visitation, the divide with the older children appears far more severe, with little indication of reconciliation in the near future.
