Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway turned heads on Monday evening as she attended a glamorous gala dinner alongside her parents, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.
The formal event was hosted in the Bird Room at Oslo’s Royal Palace to mark the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron.
The glittering occasion brought together Norway’s royal family, including King Harald V, Queen Sonja, and Princess Astrid, the king’s elder sister. But it was the 21-year-old princess who stole the spotlight with her show-stopping ensemble.
Ingrid Alexandra dazzled in a bold scarlet corset gown designed by British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. The ‘Nova’ dress featured a Bardot neckline, dramatic satin draping at the waist, and a flowing floor-length silhouette.
She completed her regal look with a matching red clutch, cream opera gloves, diamond drop earrings, and a pearl and diamond riviere necklace. Topping off the ensemble was a radiant pearl and diamond circle tiara that added a touch of classic royal sparkle.
The princess also wore the red sash of the Order of St. Olav and Queen Maud’s Order of Victoria and Albert bracelet—historic honors that emphasized the significance of the evening.
Meanwhile, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Brigitte Macron coordinated in elegant white gowns. Mette-Marit opted for a timeless Dior design with long sleeves and a round neckline, while Brigitte looked sleek in a fitted column dress with delicate lace sleeves.
This high-profile appearance follows Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s recent outing with her younger brother, Prince Sverre Magnus. The royal siblings carried out their first solo joint engagement last week, taking part in the Norwegian Red Cross’ summer training initiative.
Their activities included marine rescue drills, CPR practice, search-and-rescue dog training, and even drone operation—highlighting their growing roles in public service.
