Father, 63, was stabbed to DEATH by jealous ex-girlfriend who then sent pictures of his mutilated body

A father was stabbed to death by a jealous and obsessed ex-girlfriend who then sent horrific images of his lifeless and mutilated body to his loved ones.

Reynaldo, 63, was found fatally knifed in the chest in his former girlfriend’s apartment on Watson Avenue in Soundview, in the Sotomayor Houses complex on Sunday morning.

The killer ex-partner is identified as Mirda Degracia, 52.

The day before Luna’s body was discovered, he had reportedly visited Degracia’s apartment because he owed her $6,000, according to the family.

Upon arriving at the scene, cops found the 63-year-old unconscious and unresponsive while lying face up on the couch in the living room of Degracia’s apartment.

He was found to have been stabbed several times in the chest with a kitchen knife, which was recovered at the horrific scene.

Medics rushed Luna to Jacobi Medical Center, but it was too late and the father succumbed to his severe injuries.

Police revealed Degracia had sent images of Luna’s dead body to his brother-in-law in the Dominican Republic, after she stabbed him.

He then contacted Luna’s family who tracked his iPhone to Degracia’s apartment.

‘That’s when I saw he was in the hospital,’ Luna’s son, John Luna, told the Daily News.

‘She took pictures of his body at different angles.’

In chilling voicemails obtained, Degracia allegedly admitted to killing Luna and requested an ambulance and police officers to come to her home.

John claimed that although she admitted to her actions, it didn’t sound like she had any remorse.

Luna and Degracia met in the Dominican Republic several decades ago, but rekindled their romance when Luna moved back to New York City from Florida.

The couple had lived together for a few years before splitting up in December.
