Aubrey O’Day, former member of the girl group Danity Kane and one-time protégé of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has publicly criticized the music mogul for allowing his children to attend court proceedings filled with explicit and disturbing testimony.
Speaking on the Amy Robach and TJ Holmes Present podcast, O’Day, 41, expressed outrage over the presence of Diddy’s children during his federal racketeering and s*x trafficking trial in New York City. The trial has featured graphic accounts of alleged s*xual abuse, including lurid details about Diddy’s reported fetishes and behavior.
“The fact that the kids are marching into court, praying over everything, walking in with women who are supporting this—it’s disturbing,” O’Day said. “I don’t know any father who would want his children to hear testimony about how he liked to watch people get lubricated, have s*x, be urinated on, and have bodily fluids smeared on him.”
She then asked pointedly, “Would you want your children to know about that?” Six of Combs’ seven children—Quincy (33), Justin (31), Christian (27), Chance (19), and twins Jessie and D’Lila (18)—have reportedly been present for much of the trial. His youngest child, Love, is two-and-a-half.
Witnesses say some of the children were visibly disturbed and left the courtroom during particularly explicit testimony, including a male escort’s account of a s*xual encounter allegedly orchestrated and observed by Combs.
O’Day, who is not expected to testify in the case, questioned Diddy’s motivations, suggesting he was using his children to influence public perception and sway the jury. “It’s a calculated move,” she claimed. “Having them there sends a message, and it’s clearly intended to garner sympathy.”
She went on to accuse Combs of displaying the same manipulative tendencies in court as he allegedly used on his accusers. “It’s selfish,” she said. “It’s the same narcissism, ego, and coercion being described in the allegations. His needs come first—always.”
O’Day’s comments add to growing criticism of Diddy as his legal troubles continue to unfold, with multiple accusers and former associates now speaking out.
