BBNaija star Angel Smith has stirred online buzz once again after videos of her sharing intimate moments with a mystery woman surfaced on social media.
The clips, which show the pair being affectionate — including what appears to be a kiss at a club — quickly ignited speculation about Angel’s sexuality, prompting a wave of comments and criticism.
Rather than shy away from the attention, Angel addressed the reactions head-on via Snapchat.
“Nigerians discover that other people don’t share the same politics as them and then lose their minds,” she wrote. “Like wow, calling me a lesbian is not the gag you think it is — nor is it an insult.”
Angel made it clear that the content was shared on her own terms: “Mind you, THIS is my life. You people did not stumble on some hidden secret — I posted it MYSELF.”
Challenging critics who she says are quick to moralize while ignoring their own flaws, Angel continued: “You really think if you were to die today and a g@y person also died, God will exempt you from hell because your own sin is small? I’m sure you just lied yesterday, or even this last minute.”
She also called out what she described as religious hypocrisy: “For a Christian nation, you all are so un-Christlike. Because the Jesus I know was friends with the very people society deemed unworthy.”
