Age is a funny thing in the world of
celebrities. There’s no question that ageism exists and that youth is usually
rewarded (and chased), but the world also loves a legend, that is somebody
who’s been at the top of their game for a long, long time. For example:

The wife left, the career was over, the money
was gone. Mickey spent 6 months without leaving the house, sleeping in the
closet. Nothing to look forward to. Drugs, alcohol, depression, mental issues,
bad reputation, bad-mouthing employers, nothing seemed to be going right. (check the above photo)
Everything he built seemed to be crashing
down around him. Rourke was in a very dark place. Rags to Riches to Rags.
Mickey burnt all his bridges. Mickey Rourke became an unnecessary liability. A
life in Critical Condition.

Robert William
Barker is a
retired American television game show host. He is known for hosting CBS’s The
Price Is Right from 1972 to 2007, making it the longest-running daytime game
show in North American television history. He is also known for hosting Truth
or Consequences from 1956 to 1974. Born in Darrington, Washington, to modest
circumstances, Barker enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II.
He worked part-time in radio while he attended college. In 1950, he moved to
California in order to pursue a career in broadcasting. He was given his own
radio show, The Bob Barker Show, which ran for six years.

Richard Wayne Van Dyke is an American actor, comedian, singer, and
dancer, whose entertainment career has spanned seven decades. He first gained
recognition on radio and Broadway, then he became known for his role as Rob
Petrie on the CBS television sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show, which ran from 1961
to 1966. He also gained significant popularity for roles in the musical films
Bye Bye Birdie (1963), Mary Poppins (1964), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968).
His other prominent film appearances include roles in The Comic (1969), Dick
Tracy (1990), Curious George (2006), Night at the Museum (2006), Night at the
Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014), and Mary Poppins Returns amongst others.
