Queen Camilla’s adorable rescue puppy, Moley, is already stealing hearts — and growing fast! The young pup made her photo debut this week, just ahead of Camilla and King Charles’ visit to the Chelsea Flower Show.
In the sweet snap, Moley is seen perched on a wooden chair, wearing a red and blue collar. With her oversized ears and curious expression, the part-Jack Russell pup looked undeniably charming — and still very much growing into her features!
A Royal Visit to the Dog Garden
The photo was released as part of the build-up to the royal couple’s appearance at the RHS and BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden at the show.
Designed by gardening icon Monty Don, the garden is a celebration of canine companions, with lush, dog-friendly spaces perfect for playing and exploring.
Fittingly, a special tribute to Moley will be part of the garden: her name has been engraved on a brick path that winds through the space. She joins a host of beloved dogs in the tribute, including those belonging to Radio 2 presenters and RHS ambassadors.
The memorial also honors two much-loved royal pets — Charles’ dog Snuff and Camilla’s late dog Beth, who sadly passed away last year. Their names, too, have been inscribed into the path, adding a heartfelt touch to the royal visit.
Welcoming Moley Into the Royal Fold
Camilla first shared news of her newest four-legged friend in February. Moley, born on Boxing Day at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home — where Camilla serves as patron — was just two months old at the time of her adoption.
During a visit with a partially-sighted museum group, the Queen Consort knelt to pet a guide dog and excitedly shared: “We’ve just got a new eight-week-old rescue puppy called Moley — she looks just like a mole!”
When asked about Moley’s breed, Camilla replied with a laugh: “You may well ask. A bit of everything. It’s a rescue dog.” Moley’s mother is believed to be half Jack Russell, while her father’s breed remains unknown.
Now three months into life with the royal family, little Moley is already making a name for herself — one pawprint at a time.
